Dr. David B. Bressman
As
a child I was always interested in the medical field after
my firefighter phase. I was about 16 and had just lost
my cat Herman when I decided that I wanted to be a veterinarian.
My veterinary mentor is Dr. Matthew Licht in Indian Rocks
Beach, Florida.
I grew up in Largo west of Tampa
and attended college at the University of Florida (Go
Gators). I graduated from veterinary school at UF in
1992. I have called Atlanta home since graduation and
have owned Lenox Pet Hospital since April 2000. My primary
interests are medicine and the human animal bond. I
feel the most important part of veterinary medicine
is to keep the pets happy and healthy so they can make
the most of their time with their families.
I am married to a wonderful woman, Debbie and have 3 children: Sydney, my daughter, and two boys, Joshua and Zachary. My menagerie includes 3 dogs, 1 cat, 1 tortoise, a hamster, and a fish. Smudge, a Jack Russell Terrier and Frankie, the Dachshund live at home along with Barney, the Russian Tortoise, Fluffy, the hamster and Nemo, the Siamese fighting fish. Frac, the Sheltie and Seuss, the cat live at the hospital. My hobbies include playing video games, collecting pins, and woodworking. I enjoy watching sports, especially college football. I am active in my synagogue and participate in many breast cancer awareness walks. I also run a non-profit foundation called S & J Scarves in memory of my first wife Stacy.

Sandra McClurkin, Office
Manager My
name is Sandra and I am the office manager at Lenox Pet
Hospital. I have been here since April 2000, however,
Dr. Bressman and I have worked together since 1997. I
have always had a great love for animals. I have two dogs
at home, Cody and Remy who get along great with my two
cats J. J. and Noodles.
When not at Lenox Pet Hospital, I enjoy spending time
with my 3 daughters and 2 grandchildren, baking and
reading a good mystery. I like to collect anything that
has to do with wolves, and I also love Betty Boop and
Lucy.
The thing I enjoy most about my job is watching the
puppies and kittens grow up and especially watching
a sick pet heal and the happy look on their face when
they go home. I also enjoy all the loving head butts
from the cats and wagging dog tails from the pets that
I have come to know over the years.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions
or concerns about your pet.

Chris Bishop, Veterinary
Technician My
name is Chris and I am the senior veterinary Technician
at Lenox Pet Hospital. I have been a technician since
1998 and started at Lenox Pet Hospital in April 2005.
I have a Siberian Husky named Jersey.
When not at the hospital I like to walk with Jersey.
I also enjoy reading books and spending time with my
family.
My most memorable event in my career was assisting
in a surgery to correct a dog whose stomach had bloated.
I chose this profession to help animals and especially
enjoy all the new technology, such as surgical lasers,
that are used in veterinary medicine.
